This staring sun is a portrait of an Indian who finds his peace, strength and balance in his natural environment. Nature is his mother, his body and his soul. Like the sun, he shines and leads the way in a non-hierarchical way. His leadership is equal, his family is a circle, and he is connected to all living beings that he deeply respects. Although “real” Indians have almost disappeared from this earth, Western society seems to be turning its back on its own system and yearning for the freedom, tranquility and soul of indigenous cultures.
